Sprout is a wordless kids’ comic book that I Kickstarted in November 2018 and subsequently self-published in January 2019. The story follows a young girl who must find her own way to achieve her dreams when she can’t get the hang of the method used by her peers. Here are a few of my favorite spreads from the book, as well as the collection of rewards I created for the Kickstarter campaign (including stickers, bookmarks, art prints, and the book itself).
As the lead artist at Dreaming Door Games, I oversaw the art direction for the company’s debut title, Golden Treasure. I was responsible for designing all aspects of the art for this project, including UI, branding, characters, and final in-game illustrations, in addition to creating most of the actual game assets. I also oversaw the other artists that worked on the project, and worked closely with the director to bring his creative vision to life.
These are some of my favorite pieces that I created for the game, including samples of final illustrations and concept art. Golden Treasure will be released publicly later in 2019; learn more about the game here.
This is a work-in-progress comic inspired by the places I’ve visited and the people I’ve met on my trip to Europe with a fictional/fantastical angle. These are the first 5 pages of what will be a full length graphic novel.
I am spending 2019 travelling around Europe, and am keeping a watercolor sketchbook to capture scenes from the places I visit. I am using this as a chance to practice quickly capturing the essence of a scene on-site and to get more comfortable using watercolors.

These are some examples of storyboards I created for commercial projects for clients like Ford, Lensecrafters, and Consumers Energy. They were used along with the look book and script for pitching the commercial idea to the client, and were subsequently used on set for shot references.
